Established in 2009, God’s Gift, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that caters to girls 7-17 by providing career and college prep, life skills training, peer to peer mentoring, etiquette classes, self-esteem workshops, and leadership training and character building. Currently we operate out of Roosevelt Gardens Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We host three afterschool programs, three summer camps, and a bi-weekly weekend mentoring program. We also offer a scholarship for graduating seniors entitled, “Women of Self Worth” scholarship. Many of the young ladies in this program are referred from schools, behavioral health centers and the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Over the course of last six years, we’ve had the opportunity to partner with local organizations such as Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Broward County Parks & Recreation, Lauderhill Boys & Girls Club, Henderson Behavioral Health, and Mt. Bethel Human Services.

We have given about $10,000 worth of scholarships to at-risk girls in Broward County through our “Women of Self Worth” scholarship fund. Recently, our organization was featured in Polish Magazine for our work within the community dealing with at-risk girls.
